Pokémon Go: Best Pokémon with the highest Attack, Defense, HP, Stamina, and overall stats revealed

With Pokmon Go now a little more settled and balanced, a few revisions have come to the best Pokmon rankings that see a slightly more rational order of the best Pokmon in each of the highest Attack, highest Defense, and highest Stamina tables.

Once you’re settled in yourself, meanwhile, having mastered how to find Pokmon, you’ll want to get into taking over Gyms for your chosen team, and the best way to do that is by forming one made up from the best Pokmon possible.

Early on, players discovered that hidden stats mirror those of the original game, giving us insight into how Pokmon rank according to their highest Attack, Defense and HP (hit points, health or stamina). As you can imagine, rare Pokmon tend to top the list, but there are a few surprise entries throughout each one to look out for.

This, along with our Pokmon Go Type Chart and our list of the best Pokmon Go moves with the highest DPS, is helpful if you want to craft a team with different strengths and weaknesses, but with these elements combined together, we also know the best overall Pokmon in Pokmon Go.

Once you have settled on which Pokmon to target, then be sure to read our Pokmon Go CP calculations guide to squeeze out the best possible stats from each capture, so you know which specific creatures to train as you go, and our Pokmon Go guide, tips and tricks page to pick up a few pointers you might not know.

Here’s the top 15 Pokmon for each stat, but you can view where all 151 Pokmon stand on The Silph Road’s research page. (Thanks to them and Serebii.net for the rankings and individual stat numbers respectively.)
