Final Fantasy Type-0 HD hits Steam in August


Final Fantasy Type-0 HD comes out on Steam on 18th August.

Fancy a Chocobo as your courier in Dota 2? Of course you do.

Square Enix said the Steam version of the fantasy role-playing game has an improved in-game battle camera, full Steam achievements and trading cards, scalable motion blur settings and a customisable dynamic screen shot mode. There’s also controller support and upgraded graphics resolution levels.

There’s also a curious crossover with Valve’s MOBA, Dota 2. If you pre-purchase Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on Steam you get the Master Chocobo as your courier and Moogle (Class Zero) as your ward in Dota 2, as well as a Final Fantasy Type-0 HD loading screen.

Here’s the minimum system requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 64bit
  • Processor: CPU Core i3 2.5GHz
  • Memory: RAM 4GB
  • Disk Space: HDD/SSD 30GB
  • Video: GTX560Ti or AMD Radeon 7790 mp4 [H.264]
  • Sound: DirectX XAudio2API
  • DirectX: 11 and over

And here’s the recommended system requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 64bit
  • Processor: CPU Core i5 2.7GHz
  • Memory: RAM 6GB
  • Disk Space: HDD/SSD 30GB
  • Video: GTX750 mp4 [H.264]
  • Sound: DirectX XAudio2API
  • DirectX: 11 and over
